Read 4311 Times Since Posted on 0000-00-00 305DJs: First off, Congratulations on signing with Ca$h Money Records. How does it feel? Brisco: It feels good. Finally. 305DJs: How did the whole situation go down? Brisco: I’ve been fucking with Baby and Slim for a minute. [E] Class has been [talking] with them for a minute. Basically, they saw my vision. They saw a nigga grindin. Trill niggas. They came and snatched a nigga. I’ve been doing for ten years. First niggas to come snatch a nigga in 10 years. And shot me that check. 305DJs: What were the terms of your deal? Brisco: Three-quarter of a million dollar deal. One album with options to do other albums. But I’m gonna fuck with them as long as I could. I’m gonna be a loyal nigga and fuck with them as long as I could. But, I’m all business. So that’s what I’m going to do, keep it all business. 305DJs: What are you trying to accomplish with this deal? Brisco: Basically I’m trying to make something small, major. Make it big. Colossal. I’m trying to make this album a classic. Street Medicine coming soon. 305DJs: ‘Street Medicine’ is the title? Brisco: Yea. Street Medicine is the title. 305DJs: When can we look for the album? Brisco: I’m going to wait for the first quarter to open up and then come in the second or third [quarter]. Let the big dogs get out the way. 305DJs: Are you currently working on the first single? Brisco: Yea I’m working on the first single. We got a few follow ups already. I’m getting in the studio with The Runners. I’m doing some things with Fat Joe. I’m in the studio with T-Mix right now. I’m working on a lot of things. 305DJs: What are you going to do with your first advance? Brisco: I’m going to keep the pad in the hood, but I’m going to move out the hood. Get a better vision. I speak that hood shit so I got to keep the apartment in the hood. 305DJs: This summer you were featured on DJ Khaled’s “Listen” album and Rick Ross’ “Port of Miami” album, how did that all happen? Brisco: Yea the movement. Basically I grind to get on those albums. I cried to them niggas to get on those albums. I beg to get on those albums. Niggas saw that I was hungry, so nigga said shit, let me do what I do. But let it be known that I beg to get on those albums. Even though it was automatic, I beg to get on Ross’ album, that’s my homie. I beg to get on Khaled’s album. I’m just grindin. I’m still trying to eat. 305DJs: On Khaled’s album, you were on the song “Future of Dade County.” How does it feel to be labeled as one of the Future’s of Dade County? Brisco: It’s beautiful. The movement is definitely moving. Dade County on top. We got to suck it all up. Other niggas been getting money. Why can’t we get money? Miami the movement. 305 M-I-Yayo. 305DJs: What do you want to do outside of music? Brisco: To tell you the truth. I want to open a landscaping service. I have a bunch of my little nephews and put all their little bad ass’ on the back of a truck cutting grass. Doing some shit like that. Something to indulge in the family. You’re gone five days out of the week, the two days you have free you still feel like you in the studio. So, do something with the family, with my nieces and nephews. 305DJs: Any last words? Brisco: Brisco Now. It used to be Next. I’m up to bat. I’m now. 305djs.com, 24hourhiphop.com you know what it does. Brisco I’m next nigga. I’m in ya chest. Opa-locka goon. All my real niggas stand up. Free Rick Brownlee. All my political prisoners. Interview by: Ryan 305DJs
