24: Introduce yourself! Lady Luck: Hey everybody this is Oprah Winfry…Chi-town
representative in the house
24: (Laughs) Alright now Lady Luck.
Lady Luck: Alright, no this is Lady Luck…Jersey
in the house.
24: So what are you doing here in Miami?
Lady Luck: Uhm…trying to get a sun tan…but
it won’t work. Only my left arm gets dark from hanging out the window
all day when I drive. We out here grinding, First-N-First Entertainment…and
we got our mixtape out; so we’re giving em’ to all the people out
here and we’re selling it. Miami showed so much love, I think I’ll
be back in two weeks. And we’re going state-to-state.
24: What’s in the works right now?
Lady Luck: Right now, in the works we got distribution
with Universal, and like I said we go state-to-state with the mixtape. We’re
working on getting the biggest buzz possible. I wanna be the first female to
get the deal that I do.
24: Are you working on an album right now?
Lady Luck: Yeah, of course. I always have a bunch
of songs…we’re always working on my new mixtapes. I got Slim Thug
and Smitty. I'm suppose to be getting up with Jackie-O; bunch of people who
feeling the movement and feeling the new music I’m doing.
24: How do you feel about some of today’s
female rap artist?
Lady Luck: I mean their aren’t really many that
are out…and the ones that are out, I dislike.
24 : Like who. Want to blast any out?
Lady Luck: Nah, that ain’t my thing…you
know, God Bless everybody. Me personally, I’m just me. I feel like all
the female rappers, their all stars in their own light…some of em’
shine brighter than other’s; but I’m the sun and nobody gone shine
in my presence.
24 : Is the beef with you and Remy Ma’ still
going on?
Lady Luck: I don’t think we’re beefin’.
I know we squashed our little whatever’s on myspace …I don’t
really know. All I’m doing is music, I got this mixtape out called ‘Turn
My Mic On’…and ahh, it’s just a beautiful movement.
24 : Is there anything that you would like to
promote at this time?
Lady Luck: I would definitely like to promote my page
on myspace, www.myspace.com/iamladyluck, and I need ya’ll to hit me up.
I need ya’ll to come through and enjoy that music and leave a comment
and tell me how beautiful I am and how wonderful I am and I’ll blink at
you and tell you thanks you!
