Plies: Drummer Boy produced the track and T-Pain did the damn thing and I knew the streets would pick it up.

24: You did a contest where an up and coming artist could download your beat with the hook and do a verse on it and the winner gets to be on your album?

Plies: Yeah, bra real niggaz do real things and no other rapper has done that and I gave an average nigga a chance to shine.

24: Has anything changed since the success of your first single "Shawty"?

Plies: I still hang with the same homies and you got to remember I been doing shows and shutting shit down for years now. This song is just introducing the world to Plies but a nigga been grinding ever since.

24: Was that your ride in the video because I know sometimes artist use rentals and stuff like that?

Plies: That’s one of my dunks and I felt it was only right to bring it out and show the people how I get down. This is Plies world baby Aug.7!

24: What will the people get from your album when they buy the CD?

Plies: A nigga that speak from the heart and that has been though so much shit and still alive to talk about it.

24: You were recently on DJ Khaled album on the song "I'm So Hood" talk about that for a minute?

Plies: I fuck’s with real niggaz and Khaled got at me and we put it down and you know I’m a hood nigga so it worked out perfectly.

24: I also heard your song "Hypnotize" featuring Akon?

Plies: Shout out’s to the whole Konvict Music, the boy Akon came through and put it down and gave me a banger. I had to make sure the album had a balance and just was not one type of person could relate to.

24: I know your busy promoting and I wont keep up anymore of your time so do you have any last words?

Plies: Your boy about to change the world Aug.7, and thank you to all the people hitting up my myspace page and the website showing my love.
