24: Since we last spoke tell me some of the things you have been working on?
Streetz: Meetings, Interviews, recording and taking time out to enjoy my life man, because over the last year its been a lot of people around me going through a lot. But at the same time these shows and features been keeping me busy and building the Street Value brand. Definitely want to personally thank you and 24HourHipHop.com for all your support and love dred. "The Supply" mixtape has been a complete success and we've been working hard to get it everywhere we can man. I got a new album for the streets coming real soon also. Besides that just been meeting a lot more people with money and collecting more haters along the way. Shout out to Super and all my other people that caught cases over the last 2 years. I miss you and I will do everything in my power to bring you home.
24: You must be the only up and coming artist I know that the Vibe has let get their own journal on their website so tell me how did that come about?
Streetz: That's been a complete blessing and I'm humble with each door of opportunity that makes itself available to me and my company. Vibe is a historic company and really I can't take credit for it. The whole situation was the brain child of a young lady by the name of Linda Hobbs(we call her empress over here). She wanted to do something new that would set the background for my music and allow me to tell me story. We did stuff with Vibe in the past but she came along and loved my story and respected our work (as we did hers) and for me it made sense. You rarely meet people as well has companies that stand for so much and Vibe means a lot to the foundation of hip so its been a pleasure. It has definitely brought the attention of even more check signers and fans and for me to be able to shed light and be closer provide for my family and people that depend on me I'm greatful. Shout out to Vibe magazine and empress.
24: Your new record "See me In Ya City" has been buzzing every where and I even saw it on XXL. com getting a lot of plays which is big?
Streetz: Yeah, the record has really grown its own legs and momentum and this point. The response has been phenomenal and I definitely want to thank all the DJs and stations that have shown support. Definitely want to thank the track dealer you can expect to hear a lot from us in the near future (he the next big producer I put the house on the that). We definitely make incredible music. You can also reach out for that crack as far as production at a cool price from my production team. Shout out to young cooley, twan the beat banger, champ I'll put president obama life on them dudes they next up as far as producers.
24: You also didn't forget about the ladies on "I Want Dis Chick" so tell me what female in the game you got your eyes on and how has the females been responding to your new record?
Streetz: Man, you really been paying attention that record boy we got them with that (lol). The record came about easy, thats another Track Dealer and Mr.Will produced track. We made a club anthem! Honestly man I've been so busy dred I aint even have time to think about women right now (I was told you get to success/money with god 1st and everything else will fine you) men but they been showing up to the shows crazy and writing my myspace. Om still open so hopefully the right one will find me. I love my female fans they leave the hate at home and they keep shit interesting (lol). My female fan base has definitely went through the roof but with the new album they can expect a rude boy to really show that love to them. I respect a woman that can bring something to table though and is supportive once she can do that homie and be a rider I got her I'll change her life but for right now a nigga chilling.
24: These days in music everyone has a label so tell the readers what makes Street Value Entertainment more of a movement then a label?
Streetz: SVE(Street value Entertainment)isn't a situation that was started on the bases of music it was a situation founded just from young dudes coming together to get to the top under our own terms while being us and keeping it street. So you got members that have nothing to do with music that maybe into real estate, in twe was forced to learn the business from the ground up from promotions, to recording, to business, to the bulshit and working along side people like NITTI and DJ TOOMP your forced to learn alot. For me homie I've always thought from a business side so I think about ways that allow us to have the biggest impact especially being a indie situation so from the music to the work ethic I try to raise the bar and quality that people can expect from us. I was taking with my homie alfa mega from grand hustle we was kicking it in the studio and he was just saying with all that you do with your brand you need to be a manager. You have to think with the exception of being all over ever major radio station and tv set we getting the same looks as most major artist that's sign to labels we operate similar to a cash money , rocafella, no limit before their deal we created our own demand and buzz. We do it all homie from street promotion to email blast, duplication, production to film. I'm sitting with my brother now dicussing the posibilities of hopefully over the next 12months opening our own studio that will be open to the public and allow up and coming artist an producers to show their talent as well as established (hopefully we can get those establish in miami, the caribbean, and atlanta). You can definitely expect to see other artists and producers come from under this umbrella. We just giving that new bluebrint to getting that major deal or getting to the money. We represent the new young view point and spirit of this generation that's not going to take no as an answers and we're going to make it happen no matter what. Street Value Entertainment "BEALIEVE NOW OR HATE LATER"!
24: Your mixtape "Da Supply" has been looked at as a classic so do you feel any pressure going into your next mixtape or street album to make it better then your last?
Streetz: Hell, no dred this is what I do I make theme music to life, the hustle, the grind. That shh that motivates the people. Right now you come out to certain markets or in atlanta and you got to the top clubs magic city, body tap, onyx, blue flames and you talk to the djs there from dj esco to dj funky, xrated, awesome, cloud etc and they will tell you I got it right now I'm that nigga that's next period. I got like 4 records going around hard in the hood right now from like a zone nigga feat sunny v (which is the biggest new record in atlanta right now), see me in ya city ft t.I. to I want this chick. And with this new album which is going to be my last before my debut I can guarantee this the hardest shh you heard in years. Got a joint on there produce by dj toomp its scary we got some anthems top to bottom (lol). This is what all the work has been for to get us at this point and the labels have paid attention and the ones that haven't they will when this shh drops. We don't call them mixtapes no more according to my nigga dj scream this is a hood classic, a must have. LET ME TALK TO EM coming soon this shh is better than 99% of the albums that's came out in the last 2yrs. It will be available for download on 24hourhiphop.com and my myspace page www.myspace.com/iamdastreetz.

24: Outside of your music what do you feel like your bringing to the game?
Streetz: A standard, consistency and quality that hasn't been done since that pac jay nas era. Independence and ownership. Music that's going to touch a person soul no matter where you from what you going through. I bring that hustle. I bring that shh that's so true to life that you can close your eyes and see it. But it all starts with the music and I'm bringing that music going to be timeless. Most artist need to be told who or what they are by a marketing team but I am who I am and the people can see that so they relate to it. I give them my ups and downs and I fuck with the people because they fuck with me.
24: How does the future like for Streetz?
Streetz: It looks great right now just tired of all the little bulshit that comes with the industry personally I think all the fake shiety motherfuckers need to go but I guess that wouldnt be the industry. Business wise I plan on getting involve in a lot of different ventures but that process has already started though. What up G (book bank) lets get these boys to cut the check "money make me come (lol).
24: What's the best way for someone to get contact with you for collaborations or booking?
Streetz: if its about money or business contact street value offices at 1-678-608-8483 streetvalueent@gmail.com or streetvaluerep@gmail.com. Its been a lot of collabs recently and I'm down with working with anyone once the music is good.Www.myspace.com/iamdastreetz
24: Any final words for the readers?
Streetz: Still unsigned to a Major label right now so labels get at me.
To all the fans continue to write me and support my movement I appreciate all the support and love.
