Our first issue launched in February as a trial run for the Super Bowl edition, it was unanimous, the people wanted more. Just remember, this is only the beginning.

Here is the official press release hot off the press:

“When it initially hit the web years back, very few could imagine the success that would come from www.24HourHipHop.com. As the years have went by, however, the website has emerged as one of hip hop’s leading sources for breaking news, rumors, in depth interviews, fashion coverage, and much more.

As 24 Hour Hip Hop’s numbers continued to rise, the company’s brass decided it was time to take the website to even greater heights by distributing an exclusive monthly magazine based off of the website’s content and ideas. The first exclusive edition of the 24 Hour Hip Hop Magazine hit newsstands in early February in conjunction with Super Bowl Sunday, and needless to say it was a big hit.

The first artist to grace the cover was none other than Poe Boy Records very own Brisco, who went in depth about his struggles within the music industry and the fierce determination it had taken him to get where he is at currently in the industry. Brisco also touched on several other key subjects, from his collaboration with Lil’ Wayne on his single ‘Just Know Dat’ to the hype surrounding his next album, ‘Street Medicine’.

Also featured within the pages of the magazine’s first issue were exclusive interviews with Kanye West, Flo Rida, D Woods from ‘Making the Band’, Billy Blue, and Casino. That magazine was also chalked full of exclusive news on such artists as Nas, Akon, T.I., and Rick Ross as well as featuring a Fashion and Rumors section.

The magazine was distributed nationwide and it was evident from the turn of the first page just how parallel it was to the website, www.24HourHipHop.com. Whether you are looking for up to the minute exclusive news, rumors, or groundbreaking story lines, 24 Hour Hip Hop Magazine hasn’t missed a beat in carrying that same tradition.

The second issue of 24 Hour Hip Hop Magazine was distributed this month and featured Flo Rida on the cover. Flo Rida recently broke the record of iTunes sales for a week’s duration with over 630,000 with his hit single ‘Right Round’ and it is becoming very evident that Flo Rida is reaching the status of an international star. In the issue Flo Rida gives everyone an update on what he has been into in the game and talks heavily about the release of his sophomore album, ‘R.O.O.T.S.’.

The second installment of 24 Hour Hip Hop Magazine also took a unique look at the drama and controversies surrounding the beef between 50 Cent and Rick Ross and the turmoil that has emerged from the Chris Brown-Rihanna debacle. Also in the issue is an exclusive interview with Grand Hustle artist Yung L.A., who is making waves in the industry with his T.I. assisted hit ‘Aint I’. An introduction to Miami's newest artist D. Cell was also apart of the magazine, as we're keeping our eyes open for all the hottest new talent. The magazine also features candy for the eye in the form of a centerfold of Ice Cream Parlor Model Leyicet, as well as the usual rumors and news that have become synonymous with 24 Hour Hip Hop.

The upcoming third installment of the magazine will feature Jadakiss on the cover as the New York rapper goes in depth about his career and what its future holds. This With the 50 Cent feud now well in his rear view mirror, readers of the magazine will get an intimate look at what to expect from Jadakiss in the very near future. Also featured is an exclusive one on one interview with the talented Ron Browz, as well as up and coming artist D-Cell.

The early buzz from 24 Hour Hip Hop Magazine has been overwhelmingly positive, as it is clear that this marks a new chapter for the website, 24HourHipHop.com. This seems to be just the beginning…stay tuned for more.”
