Alicia Keys Speaks on Lil Mama & Kanye West Incidents at VMAs
 "Wow!" I think that was the thought we all had when 'Z' list artist Lil Mama jumped on stage for one of the biggest performances of the night on MTV's Video Music Awards Show. After the highly anticipated and long awaited release of Jay-Z's album 'The Blue Print 3' he decided to perform his song 'Empire State of Mind' alongside 12 time Grammy Award winner Alicia Keys. The new New York anthem was the perfect performance for the award show which took place at Radio City Music Hall in NYC. For some unknown reason Lil Mama, judge on the television show America's Best Dance Crew, thought it would be appropriate for her to jump on stage at the end of the magnificent performance. Not only was the crowd confused and bewildered... so were Alicia Keys and Jay-Z. Jay-Z even said to her on stage 'Oh you going to T-Pain it huh?' During an interview with MTV Lil Mama tried to explain that she thought Jay-Z was feeling her presence up there.. Hmmm.. No Comment This morning Alicia Keys visited with Kathy Lee and Hoda on the Today Show to promote her new single 'Doesn't Mean Anything' and was asked to speak on the incident. At first she was hesitant to comment on the occurence but eventually she sat down and spoke her mind. Alicia stated ""We can appreciate her being overwhelmed & inspired, but we would've preferred she did it from her seat". The beautiful songbird even speaks on Kanye West jumping on stage and disrupting Taylor Swift's acceptance speech during the first award of the night. Watch the Videos Below:
