Bad Boy & Block Ent. Renew Deal
Read 1081 Times Since Posted on 0000-00-00 Sean "Diddy" Combs' Bad Boy South recently announced it has renewed its joint venture with Block Enterprises. The two parties came together in March, after the 2005 success of the debut album from Boyz N Da Hood. As part of that deal Bad Boy Worldwide Entertainment and its parent company Warner Music Group assisted in the marketing, promotion and sales of Block Enterprise artist, Yung Joc. With the new deal, Bad Boy will continue to provide marketing and distribution to the ATL-based Block Enterprises roster. "As we have continued to expand the musical scope of Bad Boy, we knew we had to be plugged into the creative and vibrant Southern scene," Diddy explained via a statement. "When Block and I first met, I realized he had an ear for the streets of the South and that he would be the perfect person to be our partner in developing and breaking new talent. "The success of Boyz N Da Hood and Yung Joc proves that our instincts
were right, and there is much more fantastic music in the pipeline from the
Block/Bad Boy South team," he added. "I am thrilled that we have renewed
our commitment to this great relationship." Upcoming releases under the
new Bad Boy South/Block Enterprises deal will include new projects from Boyz
N Da Hood, Yung Joc, Big Gee and Gorilla Zoe
