Bone Thugs N Harmony Sued By Promoter
Cleveland super group Bone Thugs N Harmony, who are best known for their fast flow and 1996 classic hit “The Crossroads”, lost a lawsuit yesterday, February 28th, pressed against them by a group of Japanese concert promoters to the tune of $200,000. The Japanese promoters, operating under the name of World Mix Entertainment, claim the group missed two shows in the cities of Nagoya and Okinawa . Now unlike the
other frivolous lawsuits we’ve seen recently come up by concert
promoters (Juelz Santana Sued Boy Concert Promoter) this company actually took a loss as they had to refund all
the tickets to the sold out show. The deciding factor in the case was
the group’s performance contract and rider which listed Bone would
receive $25,000 per show along with and additional $10,000 for a photo
shoot and of course the standard air fare and hotel accommodations. The
rider also contained a list of items and services that the group
demanded to be provided by the promoters as well including items like a
box of Philly blunts, one "big sack of marijuana," two cases of Miller
Genuine Draft, two bottles of Hennessy and two pepperoni pizzas. Yes
that’s right a quote “big sack of marijuana”. How that was admissible
in court to receive compensation for…I don’t know, it’s a strange world.
