Brown's 'Run' Begins Third Week At No. 1
Madonna's "Hung Up" tops the Hot Digital Songs chart for a second week and also maintains the No. 7 spot on the Hot 100 for a second week. The Pussycat Dolls' "Stickwitu" rises 10-8 on the Hot 100 as Sean Paul's "We Be Burnin'" descends 8-9. Kelly Clarkson's "Because Of You" drops 9-10 to complete the top tier. Juelz Santana's "There It Go! (The Whistle Song)" leaps 19-11 and is the Hot 100's greatest retail and airplay gainer. As reported yesterday, the album from which it stems, "What the Game's Been Missing!," debuts this week at No. 9 on The Billboard 200. Natasha Bedingfield's "Unwritten" is the Hot 100's top debut at No. 77. Also new are Ne-Yo's "So Sick" (No. 79), Kirk Franklin's "Looking For You" (No. 92), Juvenile's "Rodeo" (No. 93) and Wisin & Yandel's "Rakata" (No. 97). Daddy Yankee's "Rompe" seizes the top slot on the Hot Latin Songs chart, ending a non-consecutive reign of 25 weeks by Shakira's "La Tortura" featuring Alejandro Sanz, which drops 1-4. Rob Thomas' "Lonely No More" posts another week at No. 1 on the Adult Contemporary airplay chart to extend its total to 17 weeks in the lead. Dierks Bentley's "Come a Little Closer" and Shinedown's "Save Me" remain atop the Hot Country Songs and Mainstream Rock charts, respectively, while Nine Inch Nails' "Only" advances 2-1 to reclaims the top spot on the Modern Rock tally from Foo Fighter's "DOA," which falls to No. 2.
