OK, so you heard the rumor about 50 Cent interviewing Jim Jones yesterday and possibly signing him to G-Unit. Well, an insider has let us in on what to expect next week on BET Rap City. Just know, next week is going to be an interesting week. Here is what the insider said.
While preparing for one of the most historical Release Day's known to mankind, Kanye West and 50 Cent are on a whirlwind of promotion as they gear up to go head to head for their Release Day Rumble come September 11th. With that said, while at work yesterday I caught a serious glimpse of what's to come next week on Bet's Rap City featuring 50 Cent, Jim Jones and the entire G-Unit Family.
Typing away at my dusty ass desk, I stuck my head up from the YouHeardThatNew.Com Top 5 Radio Countdown script (the third installment is now up for streaming in the previous post….check it out!) I notice 50 on the screen with some other rap fellow, but I didn't pay much attention. However, as I heard the voice I noticed that wasn't just ANY rap fellow, it was DipSet Capo, Jim Jones. I got up, sat closer to the TV and watched in disbelief as the two Hip Hop Bosses acted as if they were labelmates (hint).
50 Cent & Jim Jones were dapping each other up, cracking jokes and actually getting along. Now as we all know, when the camera goes off everything returns back to normal, but not with these two….they were still BUDDIES! They complimented each other on their success, and even discussed a future business venture. As I sat their with my eyes and mouth wide open, I could only think one thing….WHAT IS KILLA THINKING, OR GOING TO THINK?
As the segment ended, another tapping started, but this time it was with the entire G-Unit Family (Tony Yayo, Young Buck, Mobb Deep, DJ Whookid, & Lloyd Banks). The Unit was finally back together and operating like the G-Unit Gang they once were. For this segment, 50 hosted again, but was back to original form (cocky talk, slick jabs at his competitors and everything else he is). As the episode progressed, there was a portion of the show where they had a fan ask 50 a question…."If you could eliminate 5 emcee's in the game, who would it be and why"? Before they got back on air, 50 & the entire G-Unit discussed who and why.
Young Buck constantly yelled DJ Khaled, Yayo yelled for Ja Rule, Banks yelled for Nas, but interesting enough Mobb Deep kept quiet. When the cameras turned back on, 50 went in; "Nas for not be loyal to his crew and not putting them on, Ja-Rule for trying to sing on key with MJB, you can harmonize on a track, but don't try to carry a tune, Fat Joe for being a punk, my whole schedule was on BET and he still didn't wanna fight me..he's not a tough guy, Game for being disloyal…no matter how much I tried to help him he still said the hell with everything and finally Cam cause he basically just sucks" .
What I found interesting, someone kept yelling for Jadakiss, but he didn't put him in the 5 that were named…..I wonder what that was about. In the last segment, DJ Whookid and 50 discussed a previous segment in which DJ Khaled was naming all of the classic albums in the past 15 years. Of course Biggie, Jay and others were among the pile, but when it came time to put 50's name in the bunch, he picked him last. While admitting the album is indeed a classic, he stated "I represent that love and unity", which means "I cant fuck with this dude". When they shot to 50 for his reply, he responded "DJ Khaled you aren't the best…..IM THE BEST. Everything you put out is garbage". Young Buck decided to jump in and add to the verbal assault by insulting Khaled even more.
Next week looks like it's going to be very interesting and I'm oh so glad I was able to break some exclusive news for my faithful readers.
