With appearances in various music videos and television shows as well as two best selling ringtones, Katt Williams could qualify as one of the busiest entertainers around.

The comedian''s hit HBO stand up special Katt Williams: Pimp Chronicles Pt. 1, recently hit stores on DVD. And now the popular funnyman is preparing a new rap/comedy album titled It’s Pimpin’, Pimpin’. The album is dropping this spring on Cam''ron''s Diplomat Records/Warner Bros and features cameos from Snoop Dogg, Da Brat, E-40, Lyfe Jennings, Paul Wall, Mike Jones and Lil’ Jon. "Everything, everywhere is comedy material," Williams said in a statement. "To watch and view the world via television, newspapers, movies and music translates our world into funny. There is no subject where funny doesn''t exist."

Williams is bouncing back from a Nov. 6 arrest at the Los Angeles International Airport, for allegedly carrying a stolen, concealed weapon. In Dec. 2006, Williams was sentenced to three years probation, after pleading no contest to a misdemeanor firearm charge.

The comedian is now in high gear, as he prepares a variety of upcoming movie projects. His most recent success is a major role in the upcoming comedy film Norbit, which features an award-winning, all-star cast that includes Eddie Murphy, Cuba Gooding Jr., Eddie Griffin, Marlon Wayans, Thandie Newton and Charlie Murphy. The comedian will also star in the upcoming Christmas comedy Perfect Christmas [working title This Christmas], opposite Terrence Howard, Queen Latifah, Morris Chestnut and Gabrielle Union. Williams is also set to travel to Australia to begin work on another upcoming comedy called Fools Gold. The Warner Bros. feature will star Kate Hudson and Matthew McConaughey as a reunited couple who take part in an adventurous international treasure hunt.

Despite the busy filmwork, fans of Williams will not see less of him on the small screen. The comedian will star in Nick Cannon Presents: Short Circuitz, a new MTV half-hour series featuring sketches, impersonations, parodies and other comedic elements. "It''s the best I ever feel when I''m on stage, putting the thoughts from my head into those of an audience," Williams said. "Applause is my drug of choice."
