Music Mega Star’s first quarterly nationwide talent search kicks off in New York on August 25th & 26th, 2007. Unless you’re living under a rock, you already know that 2007 marks the age when computer savvy music lovers can download just about anything they want for free. And with this fast spreading technology, most major record labels are taking a wreck less nosedive in record sales.  If you think this doesn’t affect the kind of music we listen to on the radio… think again!  And most of us can agree that a lot of the music we’re listening to is horrible. A group of the music industry’s finest have banned together to help breathe new life into an old medium. Record label A&R’s are searching for talented artists and producers who make quality music and who can sell other things besides records… we’re talking about ring tones, concert tickets, clothing lines, cell phones, fragrances, cars, and the list goes on and on. Today’s artists must possess great market ability in order to not only pay the bills, but become financially successful in this business.

With this said… the music industry is starving for new talented artists and producers… talent that fits the bill to do more than just keep the lights on. And, by God, they intend to find just that! Sita Lewis (daughter and business partner of renowned boxing promoter, BUTCH LEWIS) along with reps from Def Jam Recordings, Voicez Music Group, Atlantic Records, Jive Records, G-Unit, Violator Management, TYBU Entertainment, Bad Boy Records and a host of others are holding a nationwide talent search for music’s next Mega Star! An event that they’re calling ‘A REAL LIFE AMERICAN IDOL’. The event takes place Saturday August 25th & Sunday August 26th  8am – MIDNIGHT both days.

Music Mega Star talent search will listen to registered artists perform as well as listen to producer tracks on a first come first served basis.  For most artists it’s a chance of a lifetime! 

Artists & Producers who have already put their names on the guest list are coming as far away as LA, Toronto, San Fran, Seattle, ATL, Ohio, Louisiana, North Carolina and many other cities in between. Music Mega Star will hold it’s talent search at the brand new Music Factory Recording Studio of hit making producer Ty Fyffe who’s production work dates back to Wrecks n Effect’s “Rump Shaker” up to today’s hip hop sensation 50 Cent’s first single, “Straight to the Bank” from his soon released Curtis Album.  Ty Fyffe will also be on hand looking for new producer’s to sign to his production company.
