Ole Dirty Bastard Biography Hitting Shelves
ODB was best known for his wild stage antics and all around drunken and dirty demeanor until his tragic death on November 13, 2004, due to a drug-induced heart attack. Sadly he was only 35. Dirty had struggled with drugs and family say mental illness his whole life and feel that this was one of the reasons he had so many troubles. Giving a glimpse into how far gone Dirty was at times, his former lawyer Robert Shapiro, who is most famous for defending O.J. Simpson is his infamous 1995 murder trail, details the seriousness of Dirty’s alleged mental disability. “His behavior was a result of mental illness,” Shapiro noted in the book. “One time he had his hat on backward, had on two different shoes, and he stood with his back to the judge with his hat facing the judge as if he was looking at the judge." Yep. Sounds crazy to me. The book will be released November 25th and will be in bookstores nationwide.
