 Usher & Tameka Foster Finally Tie the Knot. In recent updated news, after their abrupt cancellation of the planned wedding, Usher Raymond and Tameka Foster tied the knot last Friday (August 3) in Atlanta, Usher’s hometown. The simple ceremony was held in the office of Usher’s attorney. Plans were supposed to have been followed through last Saturday, but reports from Usher’s publicist stated that it was cancelled due to reasons she could not discuss. The wedding was originally set to have taken place at the Long Island home of Antonio “L.A.” Reid. Now, head of Def Jam Entertainment, Reid was a long time friend of Usher since the days of LaFace Records. With a child on the way and a new album on the horizon, we will definitely hear more from Usher in the upcoming months. It never fails, didn’t I tell ya’ll they were eventually going to be get married anyway. Is it just me or does Usher like reading about himself in the paper? All this publicity must be giving him exposure to push his new album. Ya’ll tell me, is it working?
R.Kelly To Go To Trial We are all aware of the incidents that took place between R.Kelly and his alleged mishaps on videotape that surfaced sometime in 2002. That same videotape has been circulated around the nation and even on the internet, going on five years now. Authorities seized the videotape and arrested Kelly on charges of child pornography and statutory rape. He pleaded not guilty several years back and was awaiting trial. Defense attorneys dispute the age of the girl and the accuracy of the tape proving if that was even Kelly or not. On September 17, Kelly will finally go to trial for 14 counts of child pornography and his verdict will be placed in the hands of a jury of his peers. If convicted, he faces up to 15 years in the state penitentiary. Let me ask ya’ll, they are claiming that the person in the videotape was not R.Kelly, now ya’ll seen the video, is that R. Kelly or not? My verdict: Yes, Indeed!
