On The Clock Report: December 3, 2007
Four suspects arrested for
the murder of Sean Taylor Miami, FL. - Approximately
last week, Washington Redskins Safety, Sean Taylor was
shot and killed during a robbery attempt in his Miami home. At press
time, four suspects have been arrested and charged with his murder. The suspects were identified
as Venjah K. Hunte, 20; Eric Rivera, Jr., 17; Jason
Scott Mitchell, 17; and Charles Kendrick Lee Wardlow, 18.
Police investigators revealed that the four men thought the house of
empty and admitted to an intentional robbery. They had prior knowledge
that Taylor occupied the residence and wasn't planning a confrontation
or an intentional murder. At approximately 1:45am, they entered the
Taylor home as he was in bed with his girlfriend, Jackie Garcia.
As he awoke to a noise, he sprang out of bed to lock the bedroom door.
The suspects apparently kicked in the door fired two shots, one hitting
Taylor in the leg. His girlfriend hid under the bed and quickly called
911. Sean Taylor died the next day at Miami Jackson Memorial Hospital,
he was 24. 24hourhiphop.com sends our condolences to the Taylor family and the Washington Redskins. All this occurred over a robbery, when will people ever learn?
Fishkill, NY. - The King
of the Hook isn't out of trouble yet. Akon is set to go to
court after the fan that he body-slammed earlier in the year is now
charging him of bodily injury. Back in June, 24hourhiphop.com reported that during a concert in upstate New York, a mishap occurred whereby a fan was picked up out of a crowd and tossed back into the crowd. The situation occurred after the fan threw a bottle at Akon and upset him. He asked the fans to point him out, as they did; he took matters into his own hands, but not in an attempt to harm. At the time the mother of the child sought out to press charges against him but wasn't able to, until now. Akon is scheduled to appear in the Fishkill Town Court on Monday morning for an arraignment on the misdemeanor charge of endangering the welfare of a minor and second-degree harassment. This is just another blatant attempt in trying to get rich off of a celebrity. We all know that boy wasn't harmed; his mother needs to stop trippin' and get over it. That boy probably enjoyed being the center of attention for that brief moment.
