Donda West's Surgeon, Dr. Jan Adams walks off Larry King Live

On November 20, 2007, Larry King invited Dr. Jan Adams onto the show to discuss the situation concerning Kanye West's mother. Out of respect for the family, he was asked not to comment or even go on the show.

Larry King has always been known to be straight forward and his questions always stem from certain major events. King was deliberate and was only seeking the truth. Dr. Jan Adams was stern with his conditions before going on the show that he was not to answer any questions concerning the cause of death to Kanye's mother. Upon shaking King's hand, he proceeded directly to ask if he was going to answer any questions concerning Donda West's death. Adams had this to say about the whole situation before removing his microphone and abruptly walking off the set.

"I had come here to talk about things in the press that aren't accurate about me but I have a tremendous amount of love and respect for the West family and they have asked me not to go on, and I've said from the very beginning, I don't have a side in this. They are my side and so I'm going to honor their wishes. When they're comfortable, then I'll be comfortable. If they're never comfortable, then I'll never be comfortable. They are what's important to me. I said that from the start and that's what I'll continue to honor." - Larry King Live, CNN

Donda West was buried in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma several hours after Adams appearance on Larry King Live.

Alicia Keys' As I Am hits # 1 on the Billboard Charts

For the fourth consecutive time, Alicia Keys new studio album has hit number one on the billboard top 200. To date all of her albums have hit number 1 since Songs In A Minor, which goes to show true musician status. It is definitely safe to say that Ms. Keys has a perfect score on the charts for the fourth time in a row, back to back.

Keys new album As I Am sold over 742,400 copies opening week. Soundscan results ranks this album as her top selling for opening week sales. On the Billboard Charts, she managed to beat out, Jay-Z's American Gangster that ranked in at number eight, Chris Brown's Exclusive that came in at number ten, and Bone Thugs N Harmony's unreleased material studio album, T.H.U.G.S., that came in at number seventy three. Blazing radio stations across the nation and around the world is her hit singles "No One" and "Like You'll Never See Me Again" following right behind. Apparently, "No One" has become a ladies anthem and requests are in definite heavy rotation.

Much props to Alicia Keys for the fourth consecutive time to hit the charts. She is definitely a talented musician that deserves diva status. Congratulations goes out to Ms. Keys for hitting number one.

Timbaland becomes a Father

Mega producer Timbaland has just welcomed a daughter into the world just a couple of days ago. The mother to his child and wife to be is his publicist Monique Idlett. Apparently, the two have been dating for the past two years and Timbo popped the question during their baby shower in October. Sources say that they've known and worked with each other for several years now and this will be their first marriage between the two.

Considered as a major heavyweight producer spawning hit after hit and actually dominating Top 40 radio, Timbo has definitely showed us his versatile musical side for the 2007. Congrats to him for his baby daughter. I'm not quite sure and this isn't a fact as of yet, but I wouldn't be surprised if he named her Aaliyah.
