Hot Boys Finally Reunite New Orleans, LA – News has been buzzing lately about a Hot Boys reunion that was suppose to occur earlier in the year, as a matter of fact during the NBA All-Star Game, but due to a club shooting that long awaited resolution never occurred. This past Sunday night, during the last night of the Core DJs' annual weekend gathering, that reunion finally went through. In New Orleans' Club Dreams, Mannie Fresh, B.G., Slim, Baby, and Juvenile, came together for the first time in over seven years. Former Hot Boy Young Turk was still in incarcerated, so his arrival wasn't expected. Lil Wayne was overseas in a European Tour, but is glad that it occurred. Even after the loss of his daughter, Juvenile was even reported to be in attendance and in good spirits. As a matter of fact, Miami based producers, Cool & Dre are heading up the production for the first official Hot Boy track, but it's not on a Hot Boy album as it yet. The track is titled "Ya Heard Me" featuring Lil Wayne and Juvenile with Trey Songz on the hook and it appears on B.G.'s upcoming album Too Hood 2 Be Hollywood. Dre left this comment for MTV in response to the track. "It's the official Hot Boy reunion, the first time in seven years you hear Juvenile, B.G. and Lil Wayne all on the same record. And it's crazy. It's coming out really, really soon. It's a record I'm proud of. They just got together, you know they all been going through some shit. They all been through traumatic things in the past couple months. With Mannie Fresh's sister passing, and Juvenile's daughter, and with all the controversy surrounding Wayne, Birdman had a loss in his family. They lost their city to Katrina. I think this record is going to be healing for New Orleans, because they're the sons of New Orleans. They belong to that city. So when the city hears the record, they're gonna feel good. I'm just happy to be a part of it, to be honest with you. Lil Wayne is singing the hook with Trey Songz. It's just crazy." At press time there is no official news on the start of the new Hot Boys album. Keep posted to 24hourhiphop.com as news on the whole Hot Boys album develops. This reunion has been a long time coming. I'm glad they were able to put their differences aside to finally put this together. This will definitely be an anticipated album has soon as more news on it is released. The Game Facing More Charges after Release Los Angeles, CA – If you might recall sometime last year during a pickup basketball game in a Los Angeles school, The Game pulled a gun out on a man during that game. That same man, whose name is Shannon Roderick, is now filing civil lawsuit against him for assault, battery, negligence, and violation of his civil rights Just days after The Game was released from serving a term that dealt on a charge of felony possession of a Firearm in a school zone was from the same incident is now facing another charge dealing on a more personal issue. Roderick claims that The Game went to his car grabbed a Gun and pointed it at him saying, "I'm gonna to blast this fool." At press time, Roderick is seeking unspecified amounts in his civil lawsuit filed last Thursday. I remember talking about this a while back; it's funny how things revolve around its own path, even after he served the first initial 8 day term. Hopefully things will go his way.
