Juvenile Devastated Over Loss of Daughter

Lawrenceville, GA – The loss of his daughter, Jelani, hit Juvenile so hard that it has left him "shocked and devastated." She was only 4 years old.

Anthony Tyrone Terrell, Jr. is being charged for three counts of murder and three counts of aggravated assault and is being held at the DeKalb County Jail in Lawrenceville, GA. To avoid any potential conflict he had to be taken and held in the next county. Terrell waived his first court appearance where a formal notification of his charges would have taken place. Since he is under the age of 18, prosecutors cannot seek the death penalty. His assigned Defense Attorney will be Lyle Porter.

Juvenile's manager, Aubrey Francis, left this statement for The Associated Press on Saturday:

"It really shocked him and devastated him to the point where I've never seen him before. Right now he is relaxing and trying to grasp everything of what has happened." – AP

At press time, authorities have not announced any motive in the murders.

24hourhiphop.com sends our deepest condolences to Juvenile and his family in their time of need.

On the real, I normally wouldn't comment on something so serious and devastating, but what the hell would drive anyone to this level, let alone kill their mother and two toddler sisters? I can't imagine what is going through Juve's mind right now. Keep ya head up, brah, they're in a better place.

Remy Ma to Stand Trial

New York, NY – If you might recall, the former Terror Squad only female member, Remy Ma, was arrested in July of 2007 for shooting her friend in the abdomen outside a nightclub over a matter of $2,000 will finally be set to stand trial.

The 26 year old rapper, whose real name is Remy Smith, was arrested for allegedly shooting her 23 year old friend outside a nightclub in Manhattan last July. Apparently, she claims that her friend stole $2,000 out of her pulse while inside the club. The Supreme Court justice has officially scheduled jury selection to begin this Thursday (March 6), where she will also be scheduled to attend. Remy pleaded not guilty to assault and related charges.

If convicted, Remy Ma will be facing 25 years in a state penitentiary.

Let's be real here, do you really think she'll even receive that many years or will she settle out of court taking a plea bargain? Her attorney better be as good as she hopes, for her sake.
