Lil Wayne to Re-release Tha Carter III It has become apparent that the undistributed Platinum King is on a mission to accomplish yet another million weekly sales record. Media has been buzzing all across the industry of a sequel to 'Tha Carter III,' in what Wayne calls a rebirth, a new beginning. 'Tha Carter IV' is still in the works, however, that album isn't quite ready to see the light as of yet. He recently spoke to MTV News concerning his latest project and what he plans to include. He stated that this next sequel isn't going to just another deluxe edition with two or three new tracks, but instead a totally new studio album with brand new tracks. With plenty of unreleased material, I don't think that should be a problem. These were the comments he told MTV News: "I don't know if we're gonna release Tha Carter IV now. I think we're gonna release Tha Carter III, a new Carter III with none of the same songs, though. None of them. Not one! We don't wanna call the [next album] we got coming out Tha Carter IV. That was the dilemma we were in. We want Carter IV to be what everybody wants it to be. This is something brand-new, so we don't want it to be some experimental thing, 'cause some people are not gonna like this. I don't want them to not like Tha Carter IV. But I do have an album coming soon, very soon, and it's gonna be called Tha Carter III: The Rebirth, The birth of a new beginning." At one point in time it was reported that Wayne had a finished track with Ludacris, one that he was ecstatic about for some time, however that anticipated track entitled 'Eat You Alive' that didn't quite make the original 'Tha Carter III,' apparently this time around it will definitely make the album cut. "I had a song with [Luda] called 'Eat You Alive' that was supposed to be on [the first] Tha Carter III. That will be on the new Carter III." Wayne also omitted the different production teams he plans on using in this next project, these were his choices. "I've been working with Cool & Dre. They're geniuses, no more, no less. They're amazing. When I get in with a producer, I go in every day with them. It's been Cool & Dre up to this point. I just got some new music from Play N Skillz, new music from Street Runner, new music from DJ Nasty. I'mma check that out, see what I like about that." At press time, no release date has been set for the 'Tha Carter III: The Rebirth,' however it has been confirmed that he does plan on releasing this next LP. As soon as more news is released, you'll be the first to know. Keep posted! I always knew he was going to release another version of 'Tha Carter III,' however, I thought it was going to release a deluxe edition which most artists do most of the time. Either way, this will be obviously another record breaker on soundscan, anybody who is anybody craves any new music Weezy. Eminem Continues Work on Next Studio LP Several years has passed since Slim Shady has released an album, the Hip-Hop icon has been on a hiatus for the past several years experiencing many rough obstacles from battling sleeping medication addiction to losing his childhood friend Proof. Eminem is back on his feet and returning back to the rap game to reclaim his throne. He recently spoke to BBC Radio about his views on the level his career has prospered, plus omits additional information on his next studio LP and what he plans on incorporating into that. Eminem left these comments to BBC Radio Host Zane Lowe: "I've accomplished enough with the music that I haven't had to go out there and do other things to oversaturate. That's probably what I take pride in most, but, at the end of the day, it's kind of catch-22. I love the attention, but I don't like too much of it. There's no desire to be that big again. Whatever happens, I'll take it, but that's definitely not what I'll be recording the songs for." "For the last five months I've been working pretty much straight with Dre. There's going to be a lot of material, more so than I've had on an album with him producing before. Obviously, [Dre's] beats are insane, but aside from that, I can rap, I can write and not worry about what the beat has to sound like and how loud a snare drum is. All those things are taken care of for me. I feel like a spoilt rapper. I get to pick and choose everything." At press time, Em currently has a freestyle track on the net entitled 'I'm Having a Relapse,' hopefully that just a prequel for more things to come. At current moment no title or release date has been secured for his next studio LP. Let's be real any album touched by the production of Dre is a certifiable hit. Besides we are already aware that Dre and Em make a great team, maybe this a Travis Barker Released from Burn Center, Returns Home Los Angeles, CA – It has been a month since the tragic plane crash that occurred in South Carolina taking the lives of four passengers and seriously injuring Travis Barker and DJ AM. Both artists are still feeling the after effects of lost ones and severe burns even though recovery was imminent AM was released earlier leaving Barker still in recovery. After being treated at the Joseph M. Still Burn Center in Alabama earlier in September, he was transferred several days later to Grossman Burn Center in Los Angeles to be closer to home. Last Friday (Oct. 17), Barker was diagnosed in a stable condition allowing him to finally go home. After recovering over second and third degree burns through his body, the doctors allowed him to recover at home. He is expected to recover in the next couple of months. On the real, it's good to know that he has fully recovered and allowed to return home. I'm not quite sure he'll be the same after that tragic experience, but hopefully it doesn't affect his music and how he delivers it.
