Philly Rapper Gillie Da Kid Victim Of Violent Shootout
 According to reports, Gillie was walking to his car when an unknown gunman began firing at him. As he tried to get into his car to escape the barrage of bullets, Gillie was struck three times, twice in the arm and once in the leg. He was then taken to EinsteinHospital and released later that same evening. Philadelphia authorities, who are currently searching for suspects, revealed they have not been successful at getting any leads due to Gillie's lack of cooperation. Gillie's murder attempt is the second shooting incident to involve a rapper and occur in Philadelphia this year. Last month, Beanie Sigel was shot twice in his arm during a failed robbery. Authorities are still looking for suspects and witnesses in that case as well.
