Prodigy Arrested For Gun Possesion
 Read 1379 Times Since Posted on 0000-00-00 Prodigy of Mobb Deep and The Alchemist were arrested for gun possession in Manhattan, NY early yesterday (October 26) after cops stopped their bulletproof vehicle for making an illegal U-turn, police said. Word is Prodigy (born Albert Johnson) and The Alchemist (born Alan Maman) were pulled over by cops around 2:25 a.m., shortly after their SUV made an illegal move before finding a parking spot in Manhattan's Chelsea neighborhood. Prodigy was reportedly behind the wheel of a customized Chevy Suburban driving east on West 30th Street when he took a left on 9th Avenue and began driving north in the wrong direction before making a U-turn to secure a parking spot. Officers reportedly saw the maneouver and pulled the car over. Police sources say Prodigy was caught "squirming" to hide something
when cops shined a flashlight into the car. Following a search, a .22 caliber
handgun was found. P and Al were both charged with criminal possession of a
weapon, a charge Prodigy called "bullshit." P was later released on
$7,500 bail, while Al was released on his own recognizance.
