R&B Singer Gerald Levert Dead at 40
Read 1408 Times Since Posted on 0000-00-00 R&B singer Gerald Levert died today (November 10) of a fatal heart attack at his home in Newbury, Ohio. Reports from his family said it appears he died in his sleep. Levert scored hits in the 80's and 90's both as a solo artist and as a member of the group Levert, with songs like "Pop, Pop, Pop, Pop (Goes My Mind)", "Casanova", and "ABC-123." His solo hits included "I'd Give Anything (to Fall in Love)", "You Got That Love", and "Mr. Too Damn Good to You." His father, Eddie Levert is founder of the legendary O' Jays whom he collaborated on an album titled Father and Son. Levert scored again success as a member of the R&B group LSG (Levert,
Keith Sweat and Johnny Gill). LSG released its first album in 1997
titled "Levert.Sweat.Gill."
