Rick Ross' Album Release Party at Club Mansion
Miami Beach, FL. – The day before the most anticipated album
was to finally drop, an album release party was held in his honor and was
attended by fans and artists from all over the nation. Club Mansion, in the heart of Miami's
party district, South Beach, hosted Rick Ross' album release party. People
started filling in the door a little before 11pm and they were all there to
celebrate one reason, the Boss of Miami's official release of Trilla. (CLICK HERE TO SEE PICS) Even before the arrival of the Boss, the stage started filling in with artists from all over as the DJ kept the crowd on their toes playing the hottest joints to hit the scene. The anticipation was definitely in the air as the fans awaited the arrival of Rick Ross himself. Ace Gutta, alongside DJ Khaled, made their presence known as Ace's hit single Cash Flow, which also featured Rick Ross, filled the club's atmosphere leaving a permanent silhouette of the song's hook in their minds. Many locals also attended the event making their presence known as well keeping the VIP area hype, Trick Daddy and the Dunk Ryders made their way through VIP representing their black flags as the song Fuck the Other Side made the whole club go crazy. The Shone originator, Ball Greezy also stepped into the scene as the DJ played his new hit single I'm da Shit which also featured Poe Boy alumni Brisco. Other known local names included Mista Mac, Tarvoria, Rich Kidd, Proffesir, and Chilla P. As soon as word hit the stage that Ross was in the building, the DJ began spinning new tracks from the Trilla LP and erupted the entire club. At around 3AM, the Big Boss graced the stage made his
presence felt as the crowd went crazy. Ross began performing his new tracks
live alongside brethrens Gunplay and
Torch of the Carol City Cartel. As a matter of fact the Whole Poe Boy Family filled the stage
including new label signee, Dade County's R&B sensation, David Lyn. The head executive, E-Class was also respectively at the
front of the stage right alongside his artists. Tracks from Trilla that were
performed included: The Boss, the new anthem for the ladies, Money Make Me
Come, Billionaire, This is the Life, the soon to be legendary Maybach Music,
and of course, Speedin'. As soon as Ross finished his set, he passed the mic
directly to Flo Rida and the
excitement in the crowd rose to a higher elevation. Flo performed Birthday, his
street single Gotta Eat, new track Roll from his highly anticipated debut Mail
on Sunday, and of course his #1 single across the world Low. Hip-Hop veteran Busta Rhymes even stood up in front of
the stage to co-sign Rick Ross' Trilla by saying that this album didn't fall
into the sophomore jinx and is expected to do extremely well. The unexpected
highlight of the evening occurred when Brisco
walked to the front the stage and showed the crowd that he was fresh out of
jail. Apparently, word has it; he was released from Indian River County Correctional Facilities at approximately 12
Midnight and quickly hit the road making their two and half hour journey to
South Beach. He graced the stage at approximately 3:30am and electrified the club with his
hit single, Bitch I'm Me, and let the world know he was free. They ended the official
Poe Boy Concert with Brisco's hit street single What You Want, alongside Flo
Rida. Overall, it was an extravagant night with all the trimmings, Poe Boy
definitely shut down the whole set making it certifiable one of the most
