305djs: Both of you produced "Hustlin" for Rick Ross. How did you get the track to Ross?

Dru: We gave it to an A&R named David Eden at Atlantic Records and he gave it to Mike Carroll on a CD who is the head A&R at Atlantic and he sent it to Red, the manager that works with Ross. At that point in time they contacted us and wanted to buy the record.

305djs: Where are you originally from?

Mayne: We from Orlando.

305djs: How long have you been producing?

Mayne: We've been producing since '02-'03.

305djs: What got you into producing?

Mayne: It's just love. We've been doing it since we were 15, but you ain't producing until you sell a record. Our first record was sold in '04.

Dru: Fat Joe.

Mayne: Fat Joe. 'Does Anybody Know.' Track 2 on the album.

305djs: How did you guys meet up?

Mayne: We've been friends since day one.

Dru: Friends since pre-school.

305djs: When you make your tracks, do you use just beat machines or keyboards or instruments also?

Dru: We use everything. We use beat machines, keyboards, live instruments session players.

Mayne: Shout out to Marquee, that's our guitar player.

305djs: Besides Rick Ross, who else have you worked for?

Dru: Before Rick Ross, we did Lil' Wayne 'Money On My Mind.' We did Juelz Santana 'Murder Murder.' We did the Fat Joe record. Now we did the Rick Ross. We have 5 records with Rick Ross so far. I believe we're getting his next two singles. We got a single coming out with Smitty. They're debating on which single they want to use but we both ones that they're debating on called 'She's All In My Grill' and 'Lil Haiti.'

Mayne: We got 'Lil Haiti' in the streets right now. It's blazin.

Dru: We got Currency's newest single coming out featuring Lil' Wayne and Remy Ma called 'Where Tha Cash At.' We got DJ Khaled's newest single coming out called 'Born and Raised.' We got Dirtbag's newest single coming out called 'Bring It Back To The Bottom.'

Mayne: Hopefully we working with [Fat] Joe right now.

Dru: Yea Fat Joe, we may have his newest single coming out as well.

305djs: Who is there that you haven't worked with that you want to work with?

Mayne: Across the board the whole game.

Dru: T.I., Jeezy. We talking with Jeezy right now.

Mayne: Across the whole board it ain't just rap. We got a whole R&B side to it.

305djs: Do you have a label or strictly production.

Dru: We're strictly a production company right now but we're definitely looking into that a little bit. We have some artists that we're considering but our main objective as of now is to place as many records, as many hit records. We don't care about placing album records. We really want to just place the hits.

305djs: Who are some of your influences?

Mayne: We grew up on that whole west coast movement. Dr. Dre shit. We f**king with Dre and we f**king with anyone that is trying to come new with this sh*t. There's a lot of d*ck riders out there so anyone that is coming new with this sh*t. Innovative.

Dru: Something different.

305djs: What are your goals as producers?

Dru: To basically do what Scott Storch did or Neptunes did or Timbaland did. Be one of the top. It's because we came with something different. Everyday I'm Hustiln was a whole new sound. You already hear people out there trying to copy it or what not but it's not the same. It's something new and being that new person and being labeled as a top producer in the game and having longevity and establishing that, hopefully [we will] be able to reinvent ourselves over and over so by the time that they're doing Everyday I'm Hustlin and they figure out the formula, we're already on a whole new page.

305djs: Is there anything you want to promote?

Dru: Big shout out to DJ Nasty, DTP, he's family for life. DJ Khaled, Rick Ross, D Strong 102 Jamz.

Mayne: Yea 102 Jamz. Everybody that's supporting the movement we have going on.
