Producer heavyweight Timbaland recently took shots at Miami-based super producer Scott Storch on his first single 'Give It to Me' featuring Nelly Furtado and Justin Timberlake, off of his anticipated album 'Shock Value', calling him “just a piano man.” Several weeks later, Storch, non-rapper, mainly producer, vindictively returns with his own diss track aiming directly at Timbaland respectively titled 'Built Like Dat' claiming that “I’m a piano man. Yes, I’m the piano man, two hundred million and headed for a billion, man.”

Apparently, Timbaland was scorned about slanderous comments made by Storch about the production credit of Justin Timberlake’s 2004 Grammy winning 'Cry Me a River.'

Storch recently commented to MTV News, stating that “Timbaland approached him with a 50/50 collaboration deal for two album tracks.” Upon release of Justified, production credits put Timbaland as the producer and Storch as keyboardist. Storch felt disrespected and stated that he “composed the melody and the bridge, while Timbaland programmed the kicks and the snares.” Storch distraught and angered about the situation said, “It would have been more respectable if both had received the credit due.”

In the past, Timbaland has also taken shots that Jermaine Dupri of So So Def, after Dupri claimed in a magazine interview that he was undoubted the best producer in the music today. Timbaland and fellow veteran producer Dr. Dre took offense to Dupri claims. Dre lashed out with Eminem alongside, blazing a diss track feed off Dupri’s comments, on the song “Say What You Say.” on the “The Eminem Show.” At the end of the song, Timbaland adds his own remarks by so forth mentioning, “Yo this is Timbaland, tell him he can suck my dick.”

We are witnessing the prequel to an introduction of a situation about to really get out of a hand, this is only the beginning. Much props to both super producers.
