Ying Yang, Sir-Mix-A-lot, John Legend Tapped For 'Copyright Awareness Week'
Teachers are being encouraged to participate in the week, which already has the support of the National Association for Music Education, the National Art Education Association and the National Council of Teachers of English. ASCAP, BMI, the Motion Picture Association of America, EMI Publishing, the Harry Fox Agency, Time-Warner, Inc. and others are among the sponsors of the week, which is spearheaded by the Copyright Society. Other artists also participating in the CAW public service announcements include Deborah Allen, Gavin DeGraw, Paul Overstreet, Martina McBride and songwriter Leslie Satcher.
