 24: How long have you been doing music?
Baby Boy: Since I was 16 I have been doing music so I have been grinding for a minute.

24: Did you always think that your song “The Way I Live” would take off the way it has?
Baby Boy: I always knew it would. The song is actually 5 years old but we kept pushing it and pushing it until we broke radio and things started to happen from there.

24: How did you get signed?
Baby Boy: My song kept getting played on the radio, everyone would always call and request “The Way I Live” so when it started getting more plays then major artist labels started checking for me.

24: What’s your favorite song on the album that means the most to you?
Baby Boy: I would say it’s a song I did called “Roads.”

24: In your song “The Way I Live” you mentioned being very huge in Dallas. Tell me a little bit about that.
Baby Boy: I mentioned that in the song because before I got the deal, I would go to Dallas and they would always show me so much love and I was not even a major artist at the time but they respected what I was doing and the music.

24: How have you managed to stay strong and promote your music to the world during and after the major effect hurricane Katrina had on the community?
Baby Boy: I just like to put that type of stuff behind me and move forward because you can’t change the past. It happened and we got to pull it together and move forward.

24: What was it like being able to work with Mannie Fresh “Naw Meen” and is that the second single?
Baby Boy: I tell everyone like this, when you working with Mannie Fresh, you the shit because if they did not want to open the door for “The Way I Live” they are going to have to open the door for “Nawmeen” and look out for the video for that real soon.

24: What’s the future looking like for Baby Boy have you been working on any projects lately?
Baby Boy: Right now I’m in feature mode and producing tracks for other artist and promoting the album so come and holla at me.
