24: How you get the name?

K Kutta: Well…you know my name was K Kutta Kid but I just took out the kid, but some people still know me as Kid.

24: I know you go a single out now called "Got Me" that you're pushing. What's that song all about?

K Kutta: Well that song there is for everybody. Whatever you do, you know, you always say you're going to get yours so it's like you're encouraging someone else to go get theirs. The song ain't downing nobody or nothing like that its just like a motivation song to tell everybody go get yours and you don't have to worry about asking for nothing you know what I'm saying?

24: So who does your production and so fourth on the tracks you've been doing?

K Kutta: Well I only mess with one producer and that's Phat Boy Productions.

24: And where can artist and fans check you Phat Boy's product?

K Kutta: They can call Phat Boy up or jump on my page or call my number and set up a meeting.

24: What's your Myspace Url where everyone can check out your page and stuff?

K Kutta: www.myspace.com/officalkkutta

24: Also I heard you got a mixtape coming out soon, what's the name of that tape and where can you get it?

K Kutta: The mixtape name is 'What's Really Hood,' and it's going to be in the street and in the flea market, it's going to be where the bootlegger's are, it's going to be everywhere you know what I'm saying. Some will be put out for free and other people will show love. But it's all love and whatever with me.

24: You know Miami got the movement going on. How you feel about movement in Miami or do you even feel there is a movement going on down here in Miami?

K Kutta:  Honestly, from my point of view, I feel there is a movement going on but they not giving everybody a fair shot to see what's going on with their music and that's the only thing I don't like about it.

24: When you say they don't give a fair shot what you mean by that?

K Kutta: It's like DJ's, I mean some DJ's I feel like if a person has a song and you don't know them you should just give them a fair shot and just play the record and let the fans or whatever, the crowd, or what ever club you are in listen to it, if they like it let it play. Let them pump it or dump it because you never know what the streets, or the fans in the public think, they might like it. So that's why I say they pick or choose people you know what I'm saying. So if there is a movement and you together you know what I'm saying ok you doing it for the hood, and you doing it for the streets or whatever. Y'all ain't getting anybody out the streets. Y'all ain't listening and trying to find other artist grinding and doing what they post to be doing.

24: So tell us about the Black Rag movement y'all got going on?

K Kutta:  Well you know, how I always told people, gang banging is not even the history. Everybody got the reason for what they do and how they do what they do. My rag you know, I use it for something else for good and for bad. You black is already a street thing people who do what they do in the streets you know that's what they wear. White is like for angles and like God like he watching over you or whatever, whatever you feel me. So it's like both sides. And that's like what it really means.

24: So based on what you said before about the DJ's, which DJs showing love and not showing love?

K Kutta: Me personally I don't want to really be the one to call no names and gossip. I really don't like to talk about it on air like that but ones that do show love are Krunchone, he's the first person to show love and give me an interview. Playa P at the after hours, Big Dawg, JC, DJs in CoCo's, Copo, he in Black Gold, It was like some would work with you to a certain extent some never knew I was rapping like that and I use to make sure they straight and now I'm out there rapping and doors are closing. But you know they music speak for itself and I'm not here to argue about any issues like that you feel me.

24: I hear you got after hours on lock what's good over there they show love?

K Kutta: Yeah they showing love. Ok really and honestly the after hours is the streets. Cause basically and really with the bootlegging and trying to go out and promote really all you have to do is go out to the after hours cause that's really the streets, that's where everybody from streets go at from all over different areas and all different states. Everybody come in there so what ever is played in there that's where it's picked up and it goes back to where everybody who in there came from you know what I'm saying, after hours is really the streets and a lot of people don't know that, they thinking the after hours is such a place to this and do this thinking about all the wrong but now when they come in there and see, they see it's just like any other club.

24: What part of Miami you representing?

K Kutta: Well I'm from brown subs really. But like I tell people, whether you're here and you got family here, you really ventured off into other people hoods too and when you been doing what you do you name will ring out in streets where ever you go. But I grew up in the subs but I rep everywhere in Miami, and I'm like everywhere and my face is good.

24: So who and or what is a major influence to keep you grounded and doing what you do?

K Kutta: Well when it comes to rapping, I look at everybody. But me honestly I look up to my uncle, his name is D. Brown. I look up him cause of a lot of what he say's is real and a lot of people be saying things that don't mean nothing you feel me as if they really did not live that life or whatever and I'm not a fiction person. That real I'm on that 100%. It's a lot of dudes that rapping and you could tell if it's real or not. Like I mess with Lil Boosie and the Trill Entertainment, you know Jeezy the real streets dudes that really lived that life and was really doing that. You know I really don't be like the people who only just really know how to paint a picture. So anybody who really rapping and its really real I salute to that and that's what I mess with. But when you taking other people swag and credibility that's not cool other then that just D. Brown and the old school like Scarface and others is not too many artist like that.

24: Any shot outs.

K Kutta: You know I always got to shot out God first, then my family and friends, my daughter, my mom, Dr. Zoe, shot out to the After Hours, shout out to all the strip clubs, everybody hood, everybody street, everybody project, and that will sum up everything so I don't have to say names, and names, and names. There a lot of stuff I would promote like my future clothing line. I got a plan to put together once I get situated.

24: We wish you the best and hope you reach all your goals.
