KENTRAIL: Well this is Kentrail coming straight coming straight from Alabama, Home town Aliceville. I'm about to drop that "2 Clean" single at all the radio stations under Nexx to Blow Management. Me and my partner Ron P we're just going to do big things like that. 24: HOW DID YOU GET STARTED IN THE MUSIC INDUSTRY? AND HOW OLD ARE U? KENTRAIL: I been doing it since high school, but like playing around, I wasn't really being serious about it. So it's been about a good year since I came out with this single and started to hear it getting played in the club and on the radio, and I said to myself I really got to change then, so I started to get serious with it then so it's been about a good year. 24: OK SINCE SAYING YOU HAVE THE SINGLE TO CLEAN DO YOU HAVE IT ON A MIXTAPE OR ARE YOU WORKING ON AN ALBUM? KENTRAIL: I have been working on the album right now, but I'm about to put out a promotional CD right now just to go ahead and get that single jumping everywhere. The name of the promo CD is just called KENTRAIL promotion album. 24: YOU NOT SIGNED TO ANY ONE RIGHT NOW? KENTRAIL: Nah, I'm currently unsigned right now, but I'm up under Nexx To Blow Management. 24: WHEN I WAS CHECKING OUT YOUR TRACKS, I SEE YOU HAVE SOME HOT STUFF ON THERE, WHATS YA SECRET TO KEEP THE MUSIC HOT? KENTRAIL: Uh, just give them something they can ride to, give them something real. Not anything fake, something they can relate to and everybody around the world can get a vibe off of. 24: WHAT ADVICE YOU HAVE TO YOUNG ARTIST THAT ARE TRYING TO MAKE MONEY WITH THIS BUSINESS? LIKE YOU SAID YOU HAVE YOUR MUSIC ALREADY ON RADIO AND IN THE CLUBS WHAT STEP'S CAN YOU ADVISE THEM TO TAKE? KENTRAIL: Just keep grinding and be seen everywhere. Do as many promo shows as much as possible. But first of all you got to have that good music to put out, then like I said you got to keep grinding in these streets and be scene everywhere do as many features as you can. Network with everybody and go in the club and meet the DJ's and just network and be yourself. 24: WHERE YOU PLAN TO BE IN THE NEXT FIVE YEARS? KENTRAIL: In the next five years…damn, I plan on be on top, probably on top of the game by then. 24: HOW IS THE HIP HOP SCENE IN ALABAMA? KENTRAIL: It's kind of dry right now, cause you know there aren't too many artist that took off from Alabama, but it's getting there. There isn't a lot of love in Alabama, but I get love in my hometown, but as far as the state everybody else be doing they own thing looking out for themselves. But it's still all good though. 24: WHO ARE SOME OF YOUR INFLUENCES WHEN IT COMES TO THE MUSIC INDUSTRY? KENTRIAL: When I first started rapping I was listening to that Mike Jones, Chamillionaire, and I love that T.I, Lil Flip, mainly anybody from Texas. I was on that Texas music hard back then when I first came out. 24: I SEE YOU HAVE SOME NICE METAPHORS IN YOUR SONGS WHAT ADVICE DO YOU HAVE TO YOUNG WRITERS ON GETTING SOME CLEVER WORD PLAY IN THE SONGS THEY WRITE? KENTRAIL: Well, how I get mine, I just live it. Like everything is around me, like if I ride I just see things and I just take it in and flip it into the music so if anybody like really trying to do that I just advise them to just sit down and think of something that won't no body else think about. 24: YOU GOT ANY SHOT OUTS TO ANYONE ? KENTRAIL: I want to shot out to my management Nexx To Blow, Ron P. The whole state of Bama, my home town Aliceville and OV Entertainment and everyone you know what I'm saying who is supporting that Kentrail right now.
