 24: First off I know you were very close with Stack Bundles so how hard was it for you when you heard the news that he was killed? Ransom: It was real hard when I heard that he got killed and I still ain't got over it but I’m going to do my part and make sure no one forget him. 24: Everyday there seems to be a new artist or producer so how will you stand out from the rest and stay consistent? Ransom: I separate myself with my music man the music speaks for itself. I’m not the type that talk’s about how I’m going to do this and that I just let my music do the talking and separating because the fans will know the difference. 24: A large amount of artist has a tough time with the transition from making good mixtape to good songs but not you explain why? Ransom: I really make an effort to work on that because I am not just a mixtape artist, I have bars but I also can make a song. So it’s really just something I work at. 24: What type of beats do you like to write to and who are some of the producers you have been working with? Ransom: I like the straight fire shit, as long it’s fire I’m on it. I fuck with DJ Clue, Neo Da Matrix, Ty Fyffe, Develop, Scram Jones, and StreetRunner, producers like that.
24: I know you're cool with DJ Clue but how are some of the other DJ’s been treating you as far as supporting your music? Ransom: I fuck with a couple of DJ’s but I guess DJ’s go through their shit too and if they are not fucking with Clue they aint fucking with me. 24: How do you approach making your songs do you start with the hook or verse? Ransom: When the beat come on I just let it go, sometimes it’s the hook sometimes it’s the verse I don’t really have a method to the madness and it never happens the same way every time. 24: Tell me about some of the things you have been currently working on? Ransom: I’m doing this "Come Up" featuring just me so I’m working on that along with my album. 24: What Major Label would fit you best? Ransom: I don’t think there is one label that would fit me best, but of course they are good moves and better moves. I think anywhere I go I’m going to make the best of it so it does not really matter. 24: How has the album been coming out so far? Ransom: You already know it’s straight fire, it’s done but I’m always adding more songs on. 24: Any Last comments? Ransom: Pick up "Best In The City Pt.2" that’s out already and I’m going to be dropping another along with the album and the "Come Up" DVD so look out for all of that.
