24: Your single “Caprice Musik” has been blowing up every where. Are you happy with the response you’re getting from it?
Tum Tum: It’s a cool record and I really did not think it was going to do what it has been doing, so I appreciate the love and support.

24: I recently heard the remix for that song what made you put E-40 and Rick Ross on it?
Tum Tum: E-40 got in touch with a mutual friend of mine, DJ Greg Street and expressed that he was digging the record and I always respected E-40 for a long time so we made it happen and then Rick Ross heard it and DJ Greg Street made it happen again.

24: What’s your favorite your song on the album that means the most to you?
Tum Tum: I would say the whole album because this whole projects means a lot to me and all of my hard work has paid off. This album shows many different sides of me which most albums don’t.

24: Tell me about some of the producers you worked with on the album?
Tum Tum: Mannie Fresh, Scott Storch, Play & Skillz (who produced Chamillionaire “Ridin Dirty”), Just Beats from Dallas, Boom, and my secret weapon.

24: Which song on the album will be the next single and when should the fan’s expect a video for that?
Tum Tum: The next single is “Hatters” produced by Mannie Fresh. Hatters this one is for you.

24: What do you feel you bring to the table as an artist?
Tum Tum: I feel like I bring a lot of creativity to my music and that has been missing with a lot of artist making songs about that D-Boy talk. You’re not going to hear none of that on my album. Also, I made sure I gave the fans a whole album, not just a few songs, a whole album for them to put in and ride out too.

24: What you want to say to the critics that say 90% of the music that’s been coming out of Houston, Texas has a lack of substance?
Tum Tum: That’s why I did a song called “Hatters” for those critics and at the same time those critics need to understand this is how we were raised, these things like a Candy Slab or Grills. This is our ghetto dreams so of course we are going to incorporate it into our music, but I know I bring more substance to the table as well.

24: Outside of music, what are some things you want to get into?
Tum Tum: I am co-directing my next video for “Hatters” and I want to start creating some sneakers. I have always been a sneaker head so I’m working on that right now as we speak.

24: Anything you want to say to the fans that’s reading this interview?
Tum Tum: Hit me up at www.myspace.com/tumtum or www.tumtumonline.com and I am putting my new mixtape up for free download so log on and check that out.
