Yung Neen
24: Since the release of your mixtape "From Da Block 2 The Billboard" what are the responses you have been getting from the streets? Yung Neen: The responses have been great, just like I expected them to be! Smell me! 24: What would you say is the hardest part of being an up and coming artist trying to get into the game? Yung Neen: Well I can’t speak for every up and coming artist, but for me the hardest part is marketing and promotions. Marketing and promotions is hard for me because I can market and promote myself but so much, for example I can press up 2000 CD’s 2,000 posters and 2,000 T-shirts which is a good look for a unsigned nigga such as myself but at the end of the day that’s not enough to get my name and my music everywhere it needs to be, smell me! 24: As a up and coming artist you have to have your buzz at an all time high so are you in the studio working on your next project right now? Yung Neen: Why wouldn’t I be that would only make sense right. 24: When I recently did your review for your mixtape I saw that you have a lot of people who support your music and showed you love and left you comments why do you think that is? Yung Neen: I think that all has to do with the kind of music I make, the listeners appreciate good music and that’s what I make every trip that’s all I know how to make, ya dig! 24: A lot of people say money or fame won’t change them but it end’s up doing exactly just that or it end’s up making the artist music change how do you feel about this subject? Yung Neen: You ever heard the conversation 50 Cent had with Angie Martinez and Styles P? (Lol) Well 50 said quote for quote "Anybody who says that the money aint change them…well that means they just didn’t make enough" and that’s how I’m going answer that one, point blank period. 24: What Major label would fit you best and make you a better artist? Yung Neen: I think I would fit in good with a label like Interscope, G-Unit, of course Roc-A-Fella, Konvict Music, and last but not least Diplomat Records. Yeah, I’m feeling all those Labels right their because there are more like movements and they all winning teams and I’m a winner so why not play for a winning team! 24: What separates "DKG" from other rap groups out here in the industry because right now everyone is sounding the same? Yung Neen: We are nothing like other rap groups, we don’t rap like them, we don’t act like them, man we just aint nothing like them (other rap groups). You can’t even compare us to other rap groups! We all are nice on the mic and we all are loyal, plus we all keep it G 4real you just have to hear our music for yourself and then you can answer this question for yourself. Plus another thing is we all have the ability to be multi-platinum selling artist individually, real talk! 24: I think your music will surely get you a deal sooner then later but I want to know how do you think you will respond to the hatters that will come knowing your in the industry now and being in the lime light and you know you cant react the same you would as if you were not signed? Yung Neen: I guess I’m just gone have to wait until that day comes, but for now I’m still unsigned so all situations are still getting handled accordingly. 24: Before we get out of here anything you want to let the streets know or say to your day one supporters? Yung Neen: Yeah, to all my fans and supporters, keep supporting Yung Neen, DKG & BlackHouse Records like yall been doing.
