24: How long have you been rapping? DirtE Red: I’ve been rapping for 10 years now.
24: What inspired you to be a rapper?
DirtE Red: I don’t know. One night I just got
drunk with some other dudes in the hood and they started freestylin’ and
I just popped off and it’s been on since then.
24: How far are you trying to go with this?
DirtE Red: When people ask me what I’m trying
to do, I’m trying to strive for greatness.
24: Do you have any deals on the table for you
right now?
DirtE Red: We got about 5 different offers which I’m
going to keep classified. We got 5 offers and we’re just going to the
highest bidder right now.
24: Are you currently working on your album?
DirtE Red: Always. Right now I’m working on
another mixtape called ‘Florida’s Best Kept Secret Volume 2.’
We always working on the album. We’re always keeping the library full.
24: Do you have a single you’re trying
to push?
DirtE Red: Right now we’re trying to push the
song ‘Beating Down The Door.’ I’m pretty sure, there’s
going to be something else that comes out the mix of it.
24: Are you originally from Florida?
DirtE Red: Yea I was born and raised in Hollywood,
Florida. Broward County.
24: How do you feel about the whole Movement
that’s going on?
DirtE Red: Man, it’s been a long time coming.
I’ve just been sitting back and watching music in South Florida my whole
life, with me being born and raised here. I just thank God that I’m at
the right place at the right time. It’s going to go down in a major way.
24: Why do you think it took so long?
DirtE Red: I believe that we were caught up in people
mentality from the bottom with booty shaking music. It took time for us to break
the barriers for them to start respecting our music again.
24: You were also featured on DJ Khaled’s
album on the ‘Future of Dade County.’ How did that come about?
DirtE Red: Well I had did the song with Dela Candela
and Rick Ross called ‘Kick In The Door.’ I’m pretty sure from
a good showing of my skills on that song that it caught Khaled’s attention.
24: How does it feel to be on the song with Brisco,
P.M. and everyone else and to be labeled the ‘Future of Dade?’
DirtE Red: I’m just honored. I feel blessed.
24: Any last words?
DirtE Red: I got to shout out all my dogs in Hollywood
and Broward County. All my niggas still in the field, y’all niggas keep
ya head up. DirtE Red still rollin with ya.
