24: When we first spoke you were signed with Dirty Money and I see

that your now signed with Young Money Entertainment now so tell me how did that come about and how has it been so far?

Nicki Minaj: Well, I still am Dirty Money, shout to my nigga Fendi! The Young Money situation is more like a joint venture; shout out to Weezy F. Baby. It came about from the Carter Edition Come Up DVD, Lil Wayne's interview was right before my video, so when he watched his interview on the tape it kept rolling and of course he laid his eyes on the Baddest Bitch (lol)! He made a few calls and I was on a flight to meet him it was just that simple.

24: Young Money artist Curren$y recently left the label because he felt like his album was never coming out is that something your worried about being under that Cash Money umbrella where Gillie Da Kid and a few other artists have felt the same way and left?

Nicki Minaj:  Of course, what artist doesn't worry about that. I think that's a legitimate concern for all artists on all labels. I think what can be learned from that is you have to be in control of your own destiny. Someone's name and momentum can only take you but so far then you have to do the rest. It's a business you win some and you lose some but if you really want it "You Go Get It"

24: Tell me about your new mixtape "Sucka Free" and how does it differ from your last mixtape?

Nicki Minaj: It sounds like an album. On "Playtime is Over", I was still finding my voice so to speak. Sucka Free is Official, its "The Stamp". The stamp that says "Step Ya Pussy Up Bitches". Nicki Minaj is in the mutherfucking building (lol)! It's like if u had any doubts about Nicki Minaj before this mixtape it will completely change your mind I Promise from the lyrics, flow, swagger, cockiness, its just a bag of goodies man eat it up (lol)

24: A lot of up and coming artist are putting out mixtapes but its not many that you can listen to from the beginning to the end, so tell the readers why they should pick up "Sucka Free"?

Nicki Minaj: Because I'm a perfectionist! I always put myself in the mind of the listener sometimes it even takes me out of artist mode u know. It's like I always want the listener to be entertained. I'd rather not put a tape out than to fool people into buying something I wouldn't buy myself you feel me. Trust and believe "Sucka Free" is worth you listening to.

24: Your mixtape cover is quite a photo and I'm sure you are getting all type of reactions from it but tell me what has been the craziest thing a guy has said so far?

Nicki Minaj: One of the things that sparked a laugh was a couple people saying they could die happy now after seeing that picture (lol). I thought that was really funny but for the most part the guys just talk about how much they want to eat it, go figure. I have a question! Why do guys like fat choc has (lol)? Hit me up with some answers guys (lol)!

24: What else are you currently working on?

Nicki Minaj: Well, obviously I'm working on an album. Taking my time though not in a rush. I want it to be a classic! A couple of clothing lines want me to be the face, I'm still sorting through contracts and a bunch of legal jargon. I'm very business savvy, so just because someone waves a few dollars in my face, doesn't mean I'm signing my life away u feel me.

24: Who is Nicki Minaj inspired by?

Nicki Minaj: I'm inspired by all the young girls out there that feel there's something wrong with being sexy and feminine especially the ones that want to get in the game. I feel like I'm their voice, society almost demands that you look like a dude for people in this industry to give you your props. So I say "Take Ya Props"! Give it to yourself and soon the world will join in!

24: What will everyone see from Nicki Minaj in 2008?
