Casino puts forth the ability to allow his words to represent his nature and his style. He is intent on putting South Miami on the map as a city that empowers the talent that other cities in Miami prove true. His lyrics, versatility, and delivery give him the structure and evidence that his city is something to be talked about. Now with the assistance of Haze, Drizzle, and his own production, the sound personifies his expression. Fresh Out the Pot Vol. I mixtape exemplifies his ability to make his presence felt. The tracks that Haze and Kronik chose to grace on the listing makes perfect sense of what he is able to do and say on a beat. With County Bound and SMG behind him all the way, you can tell that the movement is crucial. If you listen to certain tracks, his label brethren D-Cell has even graced the mixtape providing his lyrical appeal. Casino even has the energy and the time to ignite his anger into one of the tracks that is directed towards another individual with the same moniker, he proves that he is the real Casino.

The freestyles that he has enveloped into this extraordinary mixtape represent his ability to deliver a song with precision and an original flow. Tracks like ‘The Real Casino’ to ‘Showtime’ provide that outlandish lyrical element that defines the style of Casino. With the Polow Da Don beat that Nas made famous in ‘Hero,’ Casino provides a storyline of where he came from and the struggle of coming up in his Goonsville hood. His transition into the sound is certifiable headnod appeal. With the inclusion of profound original tracks, the first installment to Fresh Out the Pot comes with great work ethic and proof that Casino is someone to listen up for in the upcoming months. Original tracks include: ‘Feelin’ Myself,’ ‘Fuck You, Pay Me,’ ‘Murkin’ This Shit,’ and ‘We Out Chea.’ And did I fail to mention that some of these original tracks were even produced by Cas himself. With the production elements and the lyrical matter on point, I think it’s safe to say that we are dealing with a force to be reckoned with.

All in all, the mixtape follows a pattern of introducing you to the real Casino and what he comprises. Between freestyle tracks and original tracks with interludes and co-signatures, the only thing that could possibly be said is, we await volume two of his mixtape series. If you listen close enough, there is a hint of County Bound’s next artist to blow. Don’t sleep on D-Cell; his mixtape is next up for release.
