Review By: Jay Carter

It's been five years since his last album, now Diddy is back with “Press Play.” With songs like “I Am”, “We Gone Make It” featuring Jack Knight & “Everything I Love” featuring Nas and Cee-Lo (produced by Kanye West) it looks like he hasn’t lost a step. Even though this album differs from his previous projects, “Press Play” offers something for everyone from “Come To Me” feat. Nicole Scherzinger with an up-tempo club feel to “Making It Hard” featuring Mary J. Blige or “After Love” feat. Keri Hilson which has an R&B touch. On this album Diddy experiments with different types of music but pulls it off, for example, "Last Night" featuring Keyshia Cole which has a 70's feel to it. Other notables on “Press Play” are “Partners For Life” feat. Jamie Foxx (produced by The Neptunes), “Tell Me” feat. Christina Aguilera and “P.Diddy Rock” feat. Timbaland, Twista & Shawnna. So don’t worry if he writes rhymes, he writes checks period.
