Eddie Kane: Making A Way
 Artist: Eddie Kane Mixtape: Making A Way Review by: Jay Carter In time where it seems as though every up and coming artist has a mixtape out its hard to separate the good from the bad, but after listening to track one on this CD "Hi's and Lo's" featuring Murph (produced by Alion) I was convinced that I found a diamond in the rough. There are not many new artists that can say they can make good songs and freestyle's but with "How We Ride" (produced by Alion) and "U Don't Want It" the facts are clearly shown. My personal favorite song is "My Life" (produced by CKP) where Eddie Kane paints a portrait of his up and down past which is something a lot of artist tend to shy away from. Some other key tracks are "What I'm Bout", "Hit Em' Up" and "Left 2 Right."
