Artist: Hurricane Chris

Album: 51/50 Ratchet

Label: Go Live/Polo Grounds Music/J Records

After having so much success with his first single "A Bay Bay"  (produced by Phunk Dawg) and being over looked as a "Ringtone Artist" Hurricane Chris decided to prove the critics wrong, his second single which was the remix to "A Bay Bay" even caught me by surprise with a line up of The Game, Baby and Jadakiss (as well as E-40, Angie Loc, of Ratchet City and Lil Boosie) that turned out perfectly and rising to #1 on 106&Park. On 51/50 Ratchet Hurricane showed that he actually make an album which is rare in today's industry with songs such as "Playas Rock" featuring Boxie (upcoming R&B artist on Polo Grounds Music) to the heartfelt "Momma featuring Nicole Wray (produced by Phunk Dawg) and "Hand Clap" which seems to picking up on the charts where "A Bay Bay" left off. My personal favorite on the album has to be "Getting Money" featuring Nicole Wray and was produced by The package Store (Co-Produced by Mr.Colli Park), this song speaks for anyone who has felt like an underdog or has come from nothing to something. Other key tracks are "Touch Me", "Doin' My Thang" and "Leaving You".
