Review by: Jay Carter

Lloyd Banks is back with his second album “Rotten Apple” and it seems he still has a hunger for more. The albums first single, “Hands Up” featuring 50 Cent and produced by Eminem/Dangerous LLC, places Banks right back in the mix of things. So with tracks such as “Cake” feat. 50 Cent, “Survival”, “Iceman” and “Help” (produced by Ron Browz), Banks made sure there was no sophomore jinx. Musiq Soul Child also teams up with Lloyd on “Addicted” where he explains why the more money you get brings a lot more problems and producer 9th Wonder lends a hand on “One Night Stand” which let's Banks get his Blue Hefner on. Other highlights on the album are “Rotten Apple” featuring 50 Cent and Prodigy, “Get Clap” feat. Prodigy which is sure to start some whispers with these lines from Prodigy “ I got you burnt while you looking/ See my Ferrari in Brooklyn/ On the corner of Myrtle & Throop so come through/ I’ll light your building on fire that’s why these rappers retire/ Cause they tired of dealing with the niggas like me.” So with a sophomore project such as this I guess its safe to say Banks is a sure thing y'all niggas might blow.
