Ludacris: Release Therapy
Read 2468 Times Since Posted on 0000-00-00 Artists: Ludacris Album: Release Therapy Label: DTP/ Def Jam Review by: Jay Carter When mentioning the Leaders of the South you have to mention Ludacris who’s back with his fifth album “Release Therapy”. On “Release Therapy” Ludacris puts together one of his best LP’s to date from his song concepts to the production and collaborations. What I liked most about this album was Ludacris' balance and depth from songs like “Do Your Time” featuring Beanie Sigel, Pimp C, & C-Murder to “Money Maker” with Pharrell or “End Of The Night” feat. Bobby Valentino. He then gives aspiring artists or fans a behind the music 101 on “Tell It Like It Is”. Ludacris also teams up with label mate Young Jeezy and the production duo The Runners on “Grew Up A Screw Up” and with the king of R&B R.Kelly on “Woozy”. Mary J. Blidge lends a hand on “Runaway Love” produced by Polow Da Don where Luda tells a story of 3 lost girls in each verse that hope to find a better life by running away. Other notables on the album are “War With God”, “Ultimate Satisfaction” feat. Field Mob and “Mouths To Feed”. So with this being his last album under contract with Def Jam, Luda will surely start a label bidding war with this one.
