Artist: Twista

Album: Adrenaline Rush 2007

Label: Atlantic Records

Over shadowed by highly anticipated third albums by Kanye West & 50 Cent, Twista and Atlantic Records seemed to never have had a chance even if Twista was putting out his best work to date. Lead by The Neptunes produced first single "Give It Up" featuring Pharrell along with a Hype Williams directed video seem to barely get a shot of day light on video countdowns or radio (ending in a result of 40,000 first week sales). Where I think Twista went wrong on this album was on the production clearly shown on songs like "Pimp Like Me", "Wrist Stay Rocky", "Charged", ‘No Pistols" featuring Speed Mobstaz or "Seven Day Hustle. Even when collaborating with artist like R.Kelly on "Love Rehab" and Lil Wayne on "Whip Game Proper" as Adrenaline still fails to reach Twista’s potential. Personally I feel like Twista was at his best when working with Kanye West and there is a saying "If its not Broke, don’t fix it" and I believe Twista tried to fix it for the last two albums and has failed. Some highlights on the album are "Say Say" featuring Jazze Pha, Cee-Lo & Big Zack and "Creep Fast" featuring T-Pain.
