Artist: Webbz
Mixtape: Watch My Moves (Hosted by Papa Smirf & Rick Ross)
After Rick Ross, DJ Khaled, Cool & Dre (Epidemic Music), Triple C’s, Pitbull, Brisco (Poe-Boy Ent.), and Plies started the Movement in South, Florida it opened more doors for up coming artist such as Webbz. Bringing the spotlight to Broward (or Miramar to be exact) compared to just Miami, Webbz shows critics that southern artist can spit with the best of them clearly highlighted on his "Show Me What U Got" freestyle or "Webbz Time" which I know Rick Ross would even love. But in a market with historic low record sales, labels are looking for artist that can deliver hit songs, which is exactly what Webbz shows he can do on "All I Know" featuring Akon to the Reggae inspired "In Da Streets" featuring Kirk Thuglas. And if your still not convinced that Miramar has rising stars just listen to "On Da Block" featuring Pleasure P (of Pretty Ricky) or "Memories" and your mind will be changed. On "Watch My Moves" Webbz put together a mixtape that even a hater could not hate! Some other songs to keep on repeat are "Purple" featuring Brisco & Gunplay and "Watch My Moves" freestyle with bars like " Aint a nigga in the south quite as nasty/An I’m talking 94’ Nas/Gain 500 fans every 8 bars/Another 8 is 16 that makes a thousand/once was a welfare kid in public housing/pressure bust pipe’s in my case it made a diamond"
