People are saying that the ever vocal 50 Cent is very pissed at Interscope Records for their inappropriate handling of the new G-Unit album, T.O.S., and it’s disappointing first week sales of under 100,000 copies. First off there were not enough albums shipped out to stores which caused an extreme shortage and some stores didn’t get any copies at all. Also people are saying 50 is grumbling that the label didn’t show any support on a marketing level, instead leaving 50 and The Unit to do all the work. Why would Interscope wanna mess up one of their own artists releases you ask?

Well there are several theories. First off 50 himself.  Many say the top brass at Interscope is tired of him and his “I’m the big boss, nobody can tell me nothing” attitude. He has spoken out several times against the monster label and basically said he really doesn’t need them. Do remember 50 even told the CEO of Interscope records, Jimmy Iovine, to suck his dick in a freestyle last year. Telling your boss to suck your dick is usually never a good career move. Besides that there is the issue of 50’s new site, thisis50.com. Interscope doesn’t like the fact that 50 is giving away so much free music and videos on his site without involving them at all. All this combined might have lead to some inner fuckery going on with the launch of the Unit’s new cd and people are saying this was simply pay back time. Do you think 50 has gone too far and is getting what he deserves or that Interscope is just shady? I mean he has said before he doesn’t need their machine behind him.
