Cleveland, OH – The last time we saw the infamous fast-paced melodic
Bone Thugs N Harmony officially all together was on the 2000 album ‘BTNH Resurrection,’ shortly after the release of the album,
Flesh-N-Bone was apprehended by authorities for gun charges and around the same time they were having problems with
Bizzy Bone. He began missing shows, video shoots, and interviews on purpose. His reasoning was he wasn’t getting what was due to him, his royalties. This is when
Krayzie,
Layzie, and
Wish Bone began their resentment towards him for his act of disloyalty towards the group’s career and their future. As history was foretold, after their mentor
Eazy E passed, his widow
Tomica Wright was said to have run
Ruthless (Records) to the floor, so who could blame him, at the same time he let the other group members, his friends, down. After a 5 Year hiatus from the game, they returned signed to
Swizz Beatz’ imprint,
Full Surface, in conjunction with
Interscope, to release ‘Strength & Loyalty,’ which eventually went Gold. This, their most recent album, was only graced by the three remaining members, while one was still incarcerated. Bizzy felt resentment and began working forward with his solo career, however stayed close to Layzie Bone releasing albums under the
Bone Brothers moniker.
Apparently, now, there has been news circulating around the industry that there might be a possible 5 member reunion in the works. Fans from all over world have requested it for some time now and hoped that it would one day happen. According to the unofficial lead of the group, Krayzie Bone, it has been confirmed that they have ended their minor feud with rogue member Bizzy Bone and are looking forward to the next album. As a matter of fact, sources say that Bizzy attended Bone’s last show in Riverside, California, where they had a good conversation. Krayzie goes on to state that Flesh-N-Bone should be home on July 10, as his parole is on the horizon. Now if things begin to look prosper between label politics and such, they will soon enter the studio with Swizz Beatz to begin recording their reunion project to be later titled.
On the real, this is some really good news, rumor or not. I grew up listening to Bone since ‘Faces of Death,’ I practically studied their music. I am definitely looking forward to their official 5 member album after 9 long years, as a matter of fact any new Bone material featuring Bizzy is worth waiting for. It's been too long.......
