Hip Hop Divorces & Break-Ups
 Hitmaker Swizz Beatz and his wife Mashonda are headed to splitsville according to several people in the know. The couple were going good for a moment, they even released a duet love song last year as Mashonda is on Swizzie’s Full Surface label. Well it is said that they haven’t been seeing much of each other the last two months due to constant arguments and now it looks like they are headed for divorce court. There is no official word yet but one is expected to come soon. The two have a son together and share a home in upstate New York. Also on the breakup wagon is Kanye West and his fiancée Alexis Phifer. This is the second marriage Yeezy has called off in just as many years. The two met at a fashion show and quickly hit it off with Kanye proposing to her soon afterwards. It looks like a good thing they didn’t rush too fast into the marriage though as things have not worked out as best as they could. It is not known what exactly caused the breakup and neither of the two are getting into details but Alexis has released the obligatory still friend’s statement: "It's always sad when things like this end, and we remain friends. I wish him the best in his future and all of his endeavors. He's one of the most talented people I've ever met,” Alexis said of the breakup. Kanye has not released any statements and probably wont due to his overall disdain for the media. I know if I was Kanye I wouldn’t be too sad, shit I’d be hollering at that chick in the flashing lights video for sure. She just gotta leave that shovel alone and were good!
