There was a much anticipated and hyped free Jay-Z concert that was supposed to go down in Miami this past Sunday to drive voter registrations. We all know Jay has been very adamant and vocal in this upcoming election about getting Obama into office and he had planned to come out and give a full show to anybody who either had a voter registration card on them or would register on the spot. Well of course you know people showed up mad early at like 11am when the show wasn't supposed to start until 5pm. Well after the people waited in the hot sun for a few hours around 2pm one of the concert's organizers went on stage and let everyone know that the show was cancelled for whatat the time was called 'unkown' reasons. Later they issued a statement saying it was due to vocal chord problems Jay suffered from the night before. Of course the crowd was extremely upset and let the promoters know it on the way out.

However some people close are saying that Jay was actually suffering much more than just a sore throat. People close to the event's organizers are coming out and saying that Jay actually collapsed in his hotel room earlier and had to have medics come check him out immediately. There is still no official word on this yet and no one from Jay's camp has spoken on the incident at all, not giving any reason for the missed show. We can only hope this is an untrue rumor and Jay can go on living healthily. It does make me wonder though as I know he has been so forward in this election fight that it must have taken something pretty serious to keep him off that stage…
