Several sources at The Atlanta
Journal-Constitution have reported that today, March 27, T.I. will enter a guilty plea in his federal weapons case. TIP’s
legal dream team has been grinding at the prosecutors for months to work out a
deal for the star to do as little time as possible.
There have been many
different reports of the time T.I. would receive as part of his deal, some
ranging from 3 years, some going as high as 15. Now it looks like the rapper
will get off pretty light compared to what he could face. The word is he will
receive 1500 hours of community service and then will have to do a year in
prison. The community service will entail him going around and speaking to kids
about the dangerousness of guns in the community.
WOW, community service and
a year! Cliff has a hell of a legal team if this is true. This is great news
compared to what he could have gotten, so even though he might have to be gone
for a year think about what we would have done with those 15. We would have
been really sick off that shit so let’s stay positive here. In the meantime
everybody get those “FREE T.I.” shirts ready, maybe we’ll pull an early release
for him.
