Back in 2017, rising rapper OMB Peezy spoke to VladTV about how Boosie’s classic interview about people in your hometown being “hypnotized by hatred” changed his life. He explained, “I feel like when I go home, I have to be on my toes like ten times harder, because that’s my city,” and added that he’s expecting a lot of hate that comes along with the love when he goes home.

This comes in light of OMB Peezy being shot at a show in his hometown of Mobile, Alabama on Monday (March 4) night. News of his condition is still unknown after he was sent to the hospital for surgery.
