New York, NY – The feud between 50 and Jay continues to run its course as the G-Unit General does not seem to be backing down from his public disparage blatantly aimed at Jay alongside Beanie Sigel. Lately, it seems that the feud has reached an all time high as Jay might have snickered something about 50 during a recent award acceptance speech, well 50 seems to think so.

Last Sunday night was the airing of the world famous American Music Awards that Jay-Z just so happened to be attending. According to many people that watched the show, it seems as though while Jay was reciting his now famous quote and catch phrase, ‘Men lie, Women lie, Numbers don’t, during his award acceptance speech, Jay let off a loud laugh or snicker basically gesturing hints about the sales numbers that came in for 50’s ‘Before I Self Destruct.’ And of course, 50 was not having it.

This past Monday, 50 called into DJ Green Lantern’s Sirius Satellite radio show to let off some steam directed towards Hov. These were his comments:

“He’s said that before, I didn’t really take that as disrespect. If you wanna be disrespectful, just be disrespectful. Once we start I’m not gonna stop. I’ll make you aware of that, ’cause I’m not the type of guy that goes away. So if that’s the kind of energy we getting ready to go into, then let’s do it!”

50 then continued discussing the sales projection of his latest LP being 150 – 160,000 units and the reason why it was slated lower than his previous three albums when they easily surpassed the 500,000 mark in the first week alone.

“For me this album is a prequel — it’s full circle, when the energy around a project is the way this is, you can’t really feel like it’s a failure. Like, I look at the numbers and am like, ‘What is this?’ I’ve already assessed that the album has been out a month before its actual release period [due to an online leak, and the album’s early digital release due to the leak]. So when you got that, you go, ‘Well, what did you actually expect?’

For myself, I’m asking myself, ‘What did you expect, bro? Your fans got it when it was available, at the first available opportunity.’ ”
