The sixth annual Roots Picnic line-up in Philadelphia has been announced and always hosts arguably the artists of the year. The Roots will be performing of course, Naughty By Nature (performing with The Roots), Solange Knowles, Gary Clark, Jr., Grimes, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, DJ Premier, AraabMUZIK, Joey Bada$$, Gaslamp Killer, Trinidad James, Hit-Boy, How To Dress Well, Robert Glasper, Sonnymoon, Jennah Bell & Lushlife. It is always held the first saturday of June and this year that happens to be be the first this year; it will be held at Festival Pier as usual. Tickets go on sale to the general public this Friday, January 25th at Noon (EST) and are available online at here or get them service charge free at the TLA Box Office (334 South St, hours: Mon to Sat 12p -6p).
